Peculiar doesn't have to carry such connotations, I just like the word! I'm glad that you feel that way, I felt just a little bit creepy writing it out, hence why I'm on anonymous haha. Peculiar is a terrific word, and I’m delighted (and flattered) to have been associated with it! I’d never really describe myself as anything other than ordinary, so that’s a wonderful compliment.

I answered a similar question here, and I think if I had to choose one person in my life, it’d be Rachel. Wonderful, amazing, selfless, thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, kind-hearted, hilarious, adventurous, stunning… these words don’t even beginto describe how incredible Rach is. She’s that friend that puts everyone elses’ needs before her own, who always thinks of others and how she can help and what she can do to just generally make this crazy old world a better place.

Sometimes if I’m feeling confused or sad or angry or anything, I’ll think of Rach, ask myself what she would do in the situation, and suddenly things become a lot clearer. If I could be just one millionth as fundamentally good as she is, that would be more than enough.

What kind of inspiration exactly? :) You could do a daily outfit post, to show what you’ve been wearing, or check out lookbook.com for some wonderful ideas. You could try taking old trends (or faux pas) and challenging yourself to reinvent them, or any kind of DIY stuff! I always find homemade/altered clothing to be the most interesting!

In terms of getting more ‘traffic’, I’d say just reblog from others with taste you admire, send out the word of your blog, and most importantly stick to your own style! Express your passion and creativity and I’m sure you’ll have an army of adoring fans in no time :)
